The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, healing and power. Horus was often depicted as a falcon or a man with a falcon head. According to mythology, Horus lost his eye during a battle with his uncle Set, but it was later restored by the god Thoth. This restored eye became a powerful amulet believed to ward off evil and bring good health, symbolizing the restoration of order and balance. The Eye of Horus is commonly seen in Egyptian art as a symbol of divine protection.
